Global Warming Series for year 10-12 students: Porosity and Permability

Here you can find our exciting Outreach videos for year 10-12 students about CO2 capture and storage (series videos).

This series is developed under the auspices of SECURE (subsurface Saveevaluation of CCS and Unconventional Risks). The main goal of the SECURe project is to gather unbiased, impartial scientific evidence for monitoring and mitigating risks related to environmental protection to underpin the development of geoenergy. Today we’re going to talk about global warming. In particular we will discuss the concept of porosity and permeability; what they are and how understanding them will help mitigate global warming.
