New ISS collaboration: STS4C - Science and Technology Studies Four-Cities Consortium

We are delighted to announce a new collaboration of ISS at the University of Nottingham, with the universities of Sheffield, Leeds and York for advancing research and building capacity in Science and Technology Studies in the region. The STS Four-Cities Consortium (STS4C) consists of the following research centres:

  • Institute for Science and Society (ISS), University of Nottingham
  • iHuman , University of Sheffield and Science, Technology and Medicine in Society (STeMiS), Department of Sociological Studies, University of Sheffield
  • Centre for Health, Technologies and Social Practice (CHTSP), School of Sociology and Social Policy, University of Leeds
  • Science and Technology Studies Unit (SATSU), Department of Sociology, University of York

The consortium will organise four mobile seminar series in 2019/20. The mobile seminars will be held rotating at each one of the four universities and will work towards founding an International Summer School in the summer of 2020. We will announce details about the 2019/20 schedule in our events page.
