New job post: Assistant Professor in Sociology of Science, Technology and Innovation

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to make a significant contribution to the teaching of programmes of study at undergraduate and postgraduate level in the Sociology of Science, Technology and Innovation, including responsible research and innovation, digital governance, environmental policy, international science policy and other broader sociological modules.

The role holder will contribute to teaching and supervision for these programmes as required, which is likely to include the delivery of lectures, seminars and workshops as well as blended or online teaching. In addition, the role holder will contribute to the development of new teaching programmes, teaching methods and assessment in Sociology of Science, Technology and Innovation and will also be expected to play an active part in the school more generally, for example by taking on an administrative role in relation to teaching.

This is a full-time, post, though we welcome applications from candidates wishing to work part-time to 0.8FTE, 29 hours per week. Please indicate on your application if you wish to work part-time. It is available as a fixed term contract until 31 July 2020.
