Daniela Mendez, PhD candidate in the School of Law and President of the Chilean Society of the University of Nottingham, has been involved in the organisation of the seminar: "Quality of Life, Well-being and Innovation", co-hosted by the Chilean Society of the University of Nottingham and ChileGlobal Seminars UK.

The aim of the seminar is to encourage a discussion on how the research carried out by Chilean researchers across the UK can help to improve and rethink quality of life and well-being in Chile in all their dimensions. There will be more than 13 presentations on issues such as innovation and technology, arts and music, social policy, education and inequalities. The seminar is relevant for everyone with an interest on Latin America or Chile, but also for everyone with an interest on broader discussions on quality of life, wellbeing and innovation.
