Dr Georgopoulos invited speaker by the Greek Ministry of Economy and Development

Dr Georgopoulos was invited speaker at an event organised under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Economy and Development.

The event was attended by members of various Greek institutions such as the Council of State, the Court of Auditors, the Legal Service, the Single Independent Public Procurement Authority, the Independent Review Authority, and public procurement officers of contracting authorities involved in the procurement and management of co-financed projects by the European Union in Greece.

Dr Georgopoulos' presentation focused on the bid rigging risks in the area of public procurement (with an emphasis on the construction sector) and explored the international best practices that could assist to mitigate these risks.
