Law academic appointed to advisory panel

Professor John Jackson has been appointed to be a member of an Advisory Panel to an independent review of arrangements to deliver justice in serious sexual offences in Northern Ireland.

The review, which is being conducted by the former Lord Justice of Appeal in Northern Ireland, Sir John Gillen, was established in light of the recent Irish Rugby trial which resulted in the acquittal of four defendants who had been charged with rape.
