KOY_1655

Dr Georgopoulos had the distinct honour to have been invited at the international public procurement conference in Athens organised by the Hellenic Single Public Procurement Authority and the Administrative Judges Association under the auspices of His Excellency the President of the Hellenic Republic. The event was attended also by Ministers of the Greek Government, the Governor of the Bank of Greece, representatives of the European Commission, the OECD, the World Bank, Board members of Independent Authorities, Privy Councillors and Judges from the Council of State, the Court of Auditors and other administrative courts and tribunals.

Dr Georgopoulos examined the possible impact of Brexit in the UK public procurement regulatory and policy framework and also made the case for the significant but often overlooked contribution that the British public procurement "paradigm" has had in the evolution of the European public procurement regulatory framework. Videos of all the presentations may be found here (in Greek) https://lnkd.in/dagCj32
