Viva success - Simge Aslan

Dr Qianlan Wu, Dr Ilya Kokorin (online), and Simge Aslan

The School of Law are pleased to announce that Simge Aslan passed her PhD viva voce examination on Friday 17 January 2025. 

Simge's thesis ‘At the intersection of technology and law: Distributed Ledger Technology and its impact on Private Law’ was supervised by Richard Hyde (Professor of Law, Regulation and Governance, University of Nottingham) and Dr Sandra Frisby (Associate Professor and Reader in Company and Commercial Law).  The internal examiner was Dr Qianlan Wu (Associate Professor, University of Nottingham) and the external examiner was Dr Ilya Kokorin (Assistant Professor, Leiden University).  Dr Nell Munro (Assistant Professor, University of Nottingham) served as the chair of the examination.
