Dr Aris Georgopoulos was invited speaker at the Open Forum organised by the Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King's College London on Thursday 19 February 2026.

The Open Forum explored procurement rules, systems and contracts that support successful project outcomes, improved value and reduced risks.

Dr Georgopoulos discussed the ongoing reform process of the European Union regulatory framework of procurement in the fields of security and defence with particular emphasis on construction and innovation. Dr Georgopoulos' presentation also covered the potential impact that this reform process may have on companies established in the United Kingdom who export their services in the European Union.
