Viva voce examination - Jamie Thomas

The School of Law is pleased to announce that Jamie Thomas passed his PhD viva voce examination on Tuesday 10 March 2026.

Jamie's thesis 'Supporting SMEs through Procurement Law Reform – In Search of an Evidence Base' was supervised by Dr Peter Trepte (Senior Fellow in Public Procurement Law, School of Law, University of Nottingham) and Luke Butler (Professor of Public Procurement Law & Regulation, School of Law, University of Nottingham). 

The internal examiner was Dr Aris Georgopoulos (Assistant Professor in Law, School of Law, University of Nottingham) and the external examiner was Martin Trybus (Professor of European Law and Policy, Birmingham Law School, University of Birmingham). Dr Joanna Wisniowska (Assistant Professor, School of Law, University of Nottingham) served as chair of the examination.
