Biography

I started working at the university in 2020 when I started my PhD in clinical trials methodology, aiming to create guidance to aid researchers with choosing the most appropriate randomisation method for their specific study design. After a year of study I moved to part-time, and now work alongside my research as a medical statistician at the Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit.

Before this, I worked as a medical statistician at the Institute of Cancer Research, analysing data for a case control study looking at male breast cancer.

Expertise Summary

I have worked both in epidemiology and clinical trials as a medical statistician, with disease areas focused on breast cancer and TB. I am a proficient coder in both Stata and SAS.

I have a particular interest in trials methodology, with my PhD focusing on randomisation method selection.
