NIHR Doctoral Fellow, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Nathan is an NIHR Doctoral Fellow in the Academic Unit of Population and Lifespan Sciences. His research interests include the commercial determinants of health, with a particular focus on policy and tobacco control. His PhD topic is the UK's potential smokefree generation policy.
Nathan works as Specialty Public Health Registrar based in the East Midlands in local, regional and national public health functions across England, including the UK Health Security Agency, Action on Smoking and Health, NHS England and local government, and splits his time between research, teaching and practice.
