Clinical Trials Manager, Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences
Brittany Dutton is a research associate in the Division of Primary Care. Her current research is identifying and managing patients with an increased high of the genetically inherited condition Familial Hypercholesterolaemia (FH) in primary care (FAMCAT Study; NIHR SPCR funded). She is also involved with a long term follow up observational study (ECLIPSE Study: NIHR HTA funded) which is exploring women's experience of heavy menstrual bleeding through qualitative and quantitative methodologies.
Main areas of expertise are regarding the pre-trial set up, management of active trials or studies - ranging from ethical approvals and governance to database management and monitoring and end of study close down. She is very interested in genetics research but her personal interest and background is within psychology and mental health.
