Eithne completed her BA in Psychology at the National University of Ireland, Galway in 2008 and her MSc in Work and Organisational Psychology at the University of Limerick in 2009. She then held a post as a psychometrician in the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry for several years. In 2013 she began her PhD in the University of Nottingham, where she now works as a Research Fellow. Her research focuses on hearing loss, particularly the impact of hearing loss on social participation.
