Biography

Dr Elizabeth Liddle studied music and education at the University of York, then later, Architecture and Urban Design at Oxford Brookes University. After several years working in music, teaching, and design, she came to the University of Nottingham to do a PhD in Psychology. Her PhD dissertation was on temporal and spatial attentional deficits in dyslexia. She is the author of three children's books.

Dr Liddle's current research interest is translational mental health, in particular ADHD and schizophrenia, as well as neuroimaging. Her work mainly focuses on trying to correct aberrant learning patterns and translating the findings from neuroscience into therapeutic training programs to help people with ADHD and schizophrenia.
