Biography
I moved to Nottingham in 1998 into roles that connected industry (primarily Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)) with University of Nottingham expertise, including developing and managing the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships programme.
In 2006, I was appointed as a Business Development Manager in the Graduate School (now Researcher Academy) that included contributing to securing significant funding to establish Doctoral Training Centres, before becoming Head of Research Outcomes in (now) Research and Innovation in February 2012.
In January 2018, I was appointed to a new role of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences Research and Business Development Manager and transferred fully into the School of Medicine in February 2022.
Expertise Summary
Based within the School of Medicine Research and Knowledge Exchange Service, I work closely with academic staff, research development managers within the School and across the University, and research operations colleagues to develop and grow major research collaborations, partnerships and funding.
