Vicenta Rose has over 20 years experience at senior level within Human Resources in a variety of retail, business service and healthcare environments within the private and public sectors. She has worked for The Co-operative Society, Sketchley, Lloydspharmacy and latterly the NHS as Director of HR. One of her key roles at Lloydspharmacy was working on developing the retail pharmacy business into Europe and in the NHS her key focus was change management and establishing a well respected HR Services function. She was appointed as Chair of the East Midlands Deputy HR Directors Forum in 2011. Vicenta qualified as a Counsellor in 2009 and worked as a volunteer for the NHS Staff Support Service providing counseling and critical incident support management.
In January 2012 Vicenta was appointed as Director of Rainbow Horses which is a Community Interest Group providing equine assisted therapy and learning for children on the autism spectrum
Vicenta's expertise is human resources and operational management. Her key skills and knowledge are in the areas of: employee relations; policy and service development; implementation of people management systems; employee wellbeing; financial management and managing efficient, proactive service departments. She has significant experience of managing outsourced service providers. She has a BA (Hons) in Social Sciences and was a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD).
