The Nottingham Biomedical Research Centre is a partnership between Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Nottingham. We are funded by the National Institute for Health Research.

Trauma is the leading cause of death globally, and post-surgical complications result in mortality 8.8 times higher than normal.
Together, we aim to improve survival, recovery, and quality of life for patients facing complex trauma and rehabilitation challenges.
