Papplewick Pumping Station Water Education Trust Scholarship

£500 award to attend a UK conference for research students working on water issues at the University of Nottingham

Applications for the Papplewick Pumping Station Water Education Trust (WET) Scholarship are now open to PGR students working on water issues at the University of Nottingham. It provides financial help up to £500 to attend a conference in the UK.

This is an annual award that is kindly supported by Papplewick Pumping Station.

Papplewick Pumping Station has a long association with the University and work closely on engagement and education surrounding global water issues. View more information about Papplewick.

Applications are required by noon on Friday 31 March 2023 and it is important that the funds are spent by 31 August 2023. Please send these through to the BR-RA-DTP-funding@exmail.nottingham.ac.uk email address.

The selected candidates will be asked to present their presentation at the university to the Trustees of Papplewick and other invitees which, in itself, is a great opportunity for networking and wider engagement.

Eligibility

You must be a University of Nottingham research student who is working on water issues. See the application form (Word) for further details.

Please complete the application form (Word) and have the supervisor statement of support completed and signed by your supervisor.
