Come and listen to presentations of ongoing work from PGR students affiliated with the subject aims of the REPRESENT Research Network.

In this panel, we welcome four current PGR students to present ongoing work that relates to the subject aims of the REPRESENT network. 

Speakers: 

Ouborr Kutando (University of Birmingham) - His work focuses on the political economy of elections in Ghana through an examination of vote buying practices.

Nora Leach (University of Nottingham) - Her work seeks to investigate the impact of European Union (EU) integration on the professionalisation of bureaucratic elites in post-communist Europe.

Giovanni Schiazza (Horizon CDT, University of Nottingham) - His work aims to understand what effects internet memes have on social media users. 

Anna Silander (University of Nottingham) - Her work focuses on the evolution of right-wing populist parties in Europe, their history, what the future might hold for them, and whether they will become mainstream.
