Description

The 10th Annual Nottingham Postgraduate Conference in Politics and International Relations will take place on 13 June 2023.

Call for abstracts

As the world grapples with the challenges of both interconnectedness and fragmentation, this conference seeks to reflect upon this precarity by exploring questions related to global economic shocks, multi-polarisation, securitisation and the domestic political ramifications of these phenomena, as examples.

Submissions are open to PGR students and might include, but are not limited to International Relations, foreign policy, political economy, area studies, nationalism, and postcolonialism or related fields.

Please submit a 250-word abstract for a presentation of 15 minutes via MS Forms by 31 March 2023. Applicants will be informed by 28 April 2023.

Keynote speaker Professor Valentina Feklyunina (Newcastle) will present 'Imagining Multipolarity: Hierarchies of Memories, Identities and Orders'.
