Description

Arthur Snell joined the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office in 1998 after studying history at university. He had overseas postings in Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Yemen, Iraq, Afghanistan and Trinidad & Tobago, where he was British High Commissioner. In the post-9/11 period his work focused on counter-terrorism and from 2008 - 2010 he was Assistant Director for Counter Terrorism at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. In 2014 he left government service and now works as a consultant, writer and presenter of the Doomsday Watch podcast, which has had more than 3 million listens.

The talk will take place in Highfield House Room A01 between 4.30 and 6PM on Tuesday 28 March. The talk will last for approximately 45 minutes followed by a Q&A. Sign up via Eventbrite.
