With expertise in economic sanctions, assistant professor Tyler Kustra has made several contributions to the current conversation on mounting tension between Russia and Ukraine. 

As well as appearing on France24 and BBC World News to discuss the UK imposing economic sanctions on Russia, Tyler has written the piece 'Sanctions: a brief history from Ancient Greece to Vladimir Putin's Russia' for The Conversation. 

He has also provided expert analysis to several news outlets and his contributions have appeared in an article on Russian oligarch's assets in the UK for iNews and the Bloomberg piece 'Londongrad' Undermines UK's Tough Talk on Russia Sanctions.
