Changing Dynamics in Geopolitics: Implications for Taiwan

Book cover for Dr Chun-yi Lee's co-edited book 'Changing Dynamics in Geopolitics'

Congratulations to the School of Politics and International Relations' Dr Chun-yi Lee on the publication of her new co-edited book Changing Dynamics in Geopolitics: Implications for Taiwan (Palgrave Macmillan).

The book answers key questions about Taiwan's future, through specific chapters focusing on geopolitics security topics, to better understand evolving geopolitical challenges within a global context and what these represent for the future world order—and its stability—in the Indo-Pacific region.

Dr Lee is director of the University of Nottingham Taiwan Research Hub, bringing together researchers from different disciplines and career stages to improve our understanding of Taiwan. She was recently appointed as one of the Senior Advisors of UC Berkeley's Institute of East Asian Studies' US-Taiwan-Europe Next Generation Working Group which aims to promotes teaching and research on East and Southeast Asia. Chun-yi will work with participants of this program, to develop a policy paper centred on Taiwan and an issue of importance to the bilateral or trilateral U.S-Taiwan-European relationship.

Congratulations Chun-yi!
