Biography

Artur is a Doctoral Researcher in the School of Politics and International Relations. His research focuses on Ukraine's national identity and its foreign policy. Artur's supervisors are Prof. Bettina Renz and Dr Anna Meier.

Prior to arriving in the UK, Artur has interned at the Parliaments of Canada and Ukraine, and has taken part in various projects under the Belt and Road Initiative in China.

Before starting his PhD at the University of Nottingham, Artur completed an MPA degree at Zhejiang Normal University, a BA in Philology at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, and a BA in Pedagogy at Stakhanov Pedagogical College, LNU.

Research Summary

Currently, Artur is in the writing-up phase of his PhD dissertation on Ukraine's national identity and foreign policy, 2004-2014.

Past Research

In his MPA studies, Artur's research foci were multipartism, relations among Ukraine's ethnic groups, and influence of Ukrainian NGOs on democratization processes in Ukraine.
