Biography

Lotte Verheijen works as a Teaching Associate in Comparative Politics in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. She also serves as the School's Disability Liaison co-Officer.

Prior to her work at the University of Nottingham, Lotte obtained her PhD in Linguistics, Politics, Gender & media Studies from the University of Liverpool, where she was also affiliated with the Gender and Sexuality Research cluster. She also holds a Research MA in Language & Cognition and a BA in English Language & Linguistics from the University of Groningen in The Netherlands.

Lotte's background is in Political Discourse, Gender & Sexuality research in Media and Politics, and Media Representations of Voters in the UK. However, she has taught and supervised across the Linguistics, Politics and Media Studies spectrum.
