Selim Yilmaz is a doctoral researcher in the School of Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. His research specifically focuses on international relations theories that emphasise power.
More specifically, he gained his BA in Social Sciences, which equipped him with broad research interests in the historical, cultural and political context of world affairs. To further develop his interests, he completed an MA degree in International Relations at the University of Nottingham. He enjoys getting involved in debates and discussions to gain new insights.
Selim is passionate in exploring philosophical reflections on the concept of power with regard to individuals, society and nations.
