Biomaterial characterisation

We are helping food scientists and nutritionists in their work to increase nutritional quality of foods. We are investing in equipment to improve our ability to characterise materials for improved nutritional content of foods, using new materials and new delivery systems. 

New equipment includes:

  • Differential scanning calorimeter
  • Micro DSC
  • Dual vapour sorption
  • Xray diffractometre
  • Soft contact tribology
