Sieun Lee is an Early Career Fellow at the Precision Imaging Beacon. Her expertise is in retinal image analysis and she has an interest in studying the connection between the retina and brain, especially in neurodegenerative and systemic diseases such as Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes. Sieun Lee received her PhD in 2015 in Biomedical Engineering from Simon Fraser University in British Columbia, Canada. She then conducted postdoctoral research on retinal manifestations of Alzheimer’s disease at SFU and the University of British Columbia with fellowship support from Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research.
