The challenge

The performance of propulsion systems relies on significant developments of the ‘propulsor’ – the mechanical device that drives a vehicle forward.

Our response

A number of our projects are working towards the realisation of reliable, high performance systems and components. Working closely with several of the research teams across the Beacon, our aim is to develop full scale demonstrators in the hybrid and electrified propulsion experimental research platform.
