Join us for the book launch of Unseen Lives: The Hidden World of Modern Slavery by Kate Garbers
Look forward to a lively discussion (and open Q&A) about the current state of slavery in the modern world, including the stories behind the book.
Author Kate Garbers has worked in the anti-slavery sector since 2009, and is the former Director of Unseen UK, a charity that provides safety, hope and choice to survivors of human trafficking and modern slavery.
Panel guests include Professor Zoe Trodd, Director of the Rights Lab, the world’s largest and leading modern slavery research group. Alongside Zoe will be Lord Vernon Coaker, Rights Lab Principal Research Fellow in Antislavery Policy. There will also be representation from the Human Trafficking Foundation, with Tamara Barnett, Director of Operations.
