Annabella Pearce is a third-year LLB student at the University of Nottingham. Her placement with Dr Ana Valverde-Cano  researches the Hindering Factors for Effective Prosecution of Modern Slavery and Sexual Gender-Based Violence Crimes in the UK and Ireland. This includes an evidence review which can be translated into practical resources and guidelines.
