Céline Hocquet (she/her) works as part of the Rights’ Lab’s Law and Policy programme as a research fellow in anti-trafficking and justice systems. Her research background includes international and EU human rights law, migration and asylum law and policy, as well as comparative legal and policy analysis.
Before joining the Rights Lab, Céline was a research fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law where she contributed to research projects in the migration and labour rights team, co-authored policy reports published by international NGOs and BIICL, and delivered trainings to government officials and practitioners. She holds a PhD in law from the University of Birmingham, where she was also a teaching fellow.
