Dr. Gulshan Khan (Politics and International Relations) is part of the Rights Lab's Law and Policy Programme, where she focuses on definitions and concepts of slavery. This includes work to identify universal features of slavery that transcends time and place, and to theorise concepts of control, possession and exploitation and profit. Her research background includes work on notions of dependency and domination, paradox and agency, and a recent focus on rethinking the concept of dependency.
