Kelsey Lee is a Research Fellow in Anti-Slavery and Anti-Trafficking Governance with the Rights Lab's Law and Policy Programme. She holds a PhD from Trinity College Dublin, where her research focused on expanding the definition of forced marriage to include a broader understanding of marital consent within the United States.  Prior to her PhD, Kelsey obtained her JD from Temple University and served in a variety of positions related to human trafficking legal assistance, including direct legal aid, legislative reform efforts, and large-scale research projects. She has also worked as an educator at both Trinity College and Kean University, lecturing on human trafficking, human rights, and international law.
