Nidhi Sharma is a PhD student in the Co(l)laboratory programme researching workplace coercion, labour exploitation and modern slavery in communities across Nottingham with a focus on  lived experience. She is supervised by Dr Alison Gardner from the Rights Lab with colleagues from Nottingham Trent University and the GLAA. She previously worked as a Research Fellow at the Work, Informalisation and Place research centre at Nottingham Trent University where she researched informalised employment sectors in the UK.
