Bangladeshi brick kilns need regulating but due to their ephemeral nature and spread across the country, the number and location of kilns year on year is unknown. That there is an urgent need to regulate brick kilns better is recognised by the Bangladeshi Government and they have confirmed their need for assistance from an international team of researchers and organisations (Bangladesh, India, Singapore and UK). The international team have devised a three-step method that will support Bangladesh Government in their efforts to regulate the brick kilns.
