MMT attends CIRP Winter Meeting
Richard Leach, Wahyudin Syam and Adam Thompson attended the CIRP Winter Meeting from 15-17 February 2017 in Paris, France. They were involved in the following:
- Richard presented an update to STC P on the 2019 keynote on “Geometrical metrology for metal additive manufacturing” (lead author)
- Adam presented in STC S on “X-ray computed tomography for the measurement of internal surface texture of additively manufactured hollow parts” (co-author Lars Korner, Nicola Senin, Simon Lawes, Ian Maskery, Richard Leach)
- Richard acted as secretary of STC S for the first time and attended the Liaison Committee meeting
- Richard presented in STC S on the surface texture parameter survey that Nottingham is leading (now complete and paper being drafted)
- Richard is a co-author for STC P 2020 keynote on “Material measures for dimensional metrology” (DTU lead)
- Richard is a co-author for STC S 2019 keynote on “On-machine surface metrology for precision manufacturing” (Tohoku lead)
- Nicola Senin is a co-author for STC S 2018 keynote on “Multiscale analyses and characterizations of surface topographies”
