Mr. Bo Song, a member of the Coating Materials for Energy (CME) team, has received the Best Paper Award at the International Thermal Spray Conference (ITSC) 2018 at Orlando, Florida, USA for his paper "Hydrophobicity of Suspension HVOF sprayed rare earth oxide ceramic coatings", making it the second consecutive year that the team receives this prestigious award.
This paper was selected from a number of high quality conference papers. This year ITSC was attended by 700 stakeholders from industry, academia, reserach organisations and government institutes.
