Numerical and Experimental Analysis of the Deformation Behavior of CoCrFeNiMn High Entropy Alloy Particles onto Various Substrates During Cold Spraying

Cletus John's work on numerical and experimental analysis of the impact phenomena and evaluation of the critical velocity of CoCrFeNiMn high entropy alloy onto various substrates. The study provides the window of deposition for the deposition of the HEA on various substrates (soft and hard ) using the cold spraying technique. The plasticity material model for numerical simulations of the HEA during impact and high strain rate deformation was provided as this was fitted to the deformation pattern of the material during cold spraying.
