Coating and Surface Engineering (CSE) team is now recruiting. We are looking for a PhD student to join us on Laser Assisted Cold Spray for Structural Repairs at the University of Nottingham and The Welding Institute (TWI). The candidate must have at least a UK 2:1 class degree (with 70% in the dissertation) in materials/mechanic/manufacturing/aerospace engineering, or an equivalent classification. Applications are also welcome from graduates with an applied physics or chemistry degree.
For home students, the PhD studentship will cover UK/Home University tuition fees and a tax-free stipend. Only full international fees (no stipend) will be covered for international students.
