We are a dedicated research group, based in the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies but bringing together post-doctoral and postgraduate researchers working on Cuba from across the university. We run an annual seminar programme, and group tutorials which bring our postgraduate students together on a regular basis.
We provide a physical base for the Hennessy Collection (a unique archive of books, newspapers, journals and other materials on, and from Cuba), which is also accessible to researchers from outside the university.
See our new blog - Understanding Cuba. Showcasing the research of Cubanists across the world
