Cuba Research

We are a dedicated research group, based in the Department of Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies but bringing together post-doctoral and postgraduate researchers working on Cuba from across the University. We run an annual seminar programme, and group tutorials which bring our postgraduate students together on a regular basis.

We provide a physical base for the Hennessy Collection (a unique archive of books, newspapers, journals and other materials on, and from Cuba), which is also accessible to researchers from outside the University.
