Aims

The main aim of this study is to establish the feasibility of an online intervention to promote physical activity in children aged 9-12 years with Type 1 Diabetes T1DM.

We will test whether we can successfully identify and recruit patients with T1DM to this technology-based intervention, and assess whether the proposed study design is deemed acceptable to patients, parents and healthcare professionals (HCPs).

Methods

Randomised controlled two-centre feasibility study (Nottingham/Leicester); qualitative evaluation with children, parents and healthcare professionals (HCPs).

Stage of Development

Due to start in July 2016.
