Biography

Structure-Guided Optimisation of Artificial Metalloenzymes (ArMs) for Transfer Hydrogenation Applications. The Pordea group has developed a novel ArM system for regeneration of the expensive and commercially relevant redox cofactor NADPH. In line with current gaps in the ArM field, solving the atomic resolution crystal structure of this ArM will enable chemogenetic optimisation of our current chiral alcohol production cascade, and scope for development towards other redox applications.
