Biography

Maria Ioanna Malliaroudaki is a Chemical Engineer working at the University of Nottingham (UK) as an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) of the International Training Network (ITN) of PROTECT(http://www.protect-itn.eu/) whilst pursuing a PhD in the Food Water Waste Research Group of the Faculty of Engineering since October 2019. She is developing a model that simulates and evaluates the energy use, carbon emissions and wider resource use in dairy manufacturing and supply. She entered the Department of Chemical Engineering of the University of Patras, Greece in 2014 and graduated in 2019 with a Master of Engineering (MEng) diploma.
