Biography

Ana Vukovic was born in Nis, Serbia in 1968. She received the Diploma of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from the University of Nis in 1992 and the PhD degree from the University of Nottingham in 2000.

From 1992 to 1996 she was working as an assistant at the Electronic Faculty, University of Nis, Serbia. From 1999 to 2001 she was working as a Research Associate at the University of Nottingham. UK. She joined the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Nottingham as a Lecturer in 2001. In 2008 and 2020 she was promoted to Associate Professor and Professor of Electromagnetic Applications at the same University.

Professor Vukovic is a Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (MIEEE) and Member of Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET). Her research interests are focused on all areas of electromagnetics including microwave, THz and lightning applications.

Professor Vukovic is acting as a Head of Group of the George Green Institute for Electromagnetics Research and Director of Ligthning Technology Research Centre.
