Human conflict with Tapirs and Andean Bears

Dr Simon Roberts has started a new project studying human–Tapir and human–Andean bear conflict in Ecuador in partnership with the University of Nottingham School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. Simon was approached in order to adopt and adapt the methodology he developed during a previous collaboration studying human–elephant conflict in Tanzania. We look forward to Simon becoming our school’s resident expert on Tapirs!
