The AGM of the English Place-Name Society will be held at 2.30pm on Tuesday 19 September 2017 at the offices of the British Academy (10–11 Carlton House Terrace, St. James's, London SW1Y 5AH). The AGM will be followed by a lecture given by Dr Richard Jones of the Centre for English Local History, entitled "Old English place-names and the communication of Traditional Ecological Knowledge".
