Prof Philip Bath elected to prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences



Professor Philip Bath, a world-leading expert in stroke medicine, has been elected to the prestigious Fellowship of the Academy of Medical Sciences. 

The 47 new Fellows will be formally admitted to the Academy at a ceremony on 29 June 2016. 

The Fellows have been elected for their contribution to medical research and healthcare, the generation of new knowledge in medical sciences and its translation into benefits to society.

Professor Bath was also awarded the William M. Feinberg Award for Excellence in Clinical Stroke by the American Stroke Association in February this year.
