Medical Emergency Response Procedure in brief

1. Call for a first aider for immediate support (refer to local information, e.g. first aid notices) 

2. Call the UoN Emergency Telephone Number (see above) if you or the first aider considers an ambulance is needed

3. If casualty not breathing and suspected cardiac arrest, fetch the nearest AED (defibrillator), switch it on and follow the spoken instructions to use it

(All UoN AEDs are suitable for the public to use, see first aid notices for nearest device)
